J. Cole has been linked with basketball numerous times of late. Not only has the rapper been officially tapped to co-headline the upcoming NBA All-Star Game, but he's also made numerous references to the league and its players; on 21 Savage's "A Lot," for instance, Cole prays for Markelle while imploring Dennis Smith Jr. to "stay solid." In fact, Cole and Smith are long-established homies, having played the occasional pick-up game off the court, prior to Smith's inception into the big leagues. Clearly, the man is a fan, and his stature in the game has allotted him the benefits of floor-seat access.

Likewise for the Hood Pope himself, A$AP Ferg, who recently came through to check out the Mavs and Knicks in action. As it happens, Ferg and Cole ultimately linked up for a picture, with Smith Jr. sliding through for the occasion. Ferg took to IG to add a caption: "touching the city," while Cole smolders accordingly. We can only hope that the pair spoke of collaboration, as Ferg has already been linked to the Dreamville family though J.I.D's appropriately basketball-themed "Westbrook."
