There have been two extreme reactions regarding the backlash to the upcoming documentary detailing Michael Jackson's alleged sexual abuse. One side wishes that we would all just let him rest in peace. The other side wants all of the information out in the open so that his alleged victims could finally seek justice. The Jackson Family has continued to stand by the King of Pop, denying all reports that he was an abusive man. In a new interview with Gayle King for CBS, they speak at length about their brother, revealing that they haven't seen Leaving Neverland but that everything being told in it is false.

King asked them how they could justify their claims that the information is false if they haven't actually seen the documentary before Jackie Jackson cut her off, saying, "I know my brother. He’s my little brother. I know my brother. He’s not like that." In the interview, the family defended the fact that Jackson used to host slumber parties at his Neverland Ranch with young boys, with Taj Jackson saying that he was actually present at many of the sleepovers. "I grew up in it, so for me it wasn’t odd," said Taj. "To the outside world, yes, I think it can be odd. I mean, I’m not oblivious to what it sounds like. But when you’re actually there in that atmosphere and you’re around it, and you’re watching movies, whether, with his kids, whether it’s ‘Little Rascals’ or ‘Three Stooges,’ and you’re watching these things, it’s like, it’s very innocent."
He went on to defend him further, saying, "I think the fault on my uncle was he just, he didn’t have that bone in his body to look at it the other way. And I think that was the thing, is that his naiveté was his downfall in a way."
This is the first interview that the Jacksons have done together since the Sundance premiere of Leaving Neverland. The documentary will air in two parts on March 3 and 4 on HBO.
