Marvel Studios is continuing their blockbuster domination in 2019 and gave fans a taste of what's to come in their forthcoming film, Captain Marvel. The new promo spot for the film aired during the 91st Academy Awards and looks to be another high-energy hit. Captain Marvel follows comic character Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, as she battles against the Skrulls, an alien, shape-shifting race that has infiltrated earth for nefarious purposes. Also starring in the film are Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Jude Law and Yon-Rogg, and Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva.

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, one month ahead of the Avengers: Endgame, another film from Marvel Studios that they hope will break records this Spring on April 26.

"It was great. A lot of those actors I’ve known for a while so it was great," Larson said about working on Avengers: Endgame. "It was like my first real introduction so I was able to ask stupid questions and feel like I was joining this giant family. It felt weird [the Marvel 10th Anniversary photo] like ‘I’m doing this by myself!’ and luckily I had Sam with me who I’ve done two films with previously so I knew I had a pal going into it. But it felt scary being off on my own doing this thing for the first time."

In Captain Marvel, production used a technique to make Jackson look younger, considering the film is set in the 1990s. He took to Instagram to give his reaction saying, “Wow, this Marvel de-aging thing is doper than I thought!”
