Jimmy Kimmel has taken to the streets yet again for another segment for his late night talk show. This time around, Jimmy and his team have decided to ask pedestrians about extinction, regarding one species in particular.

"The U.N. released a big report this week that says among other things, that more than a million species of plants and animals are facing extinction," the description for the video reads. "This is something we need to act on, so to raise awareness, we went out on the street to ask people if they were worried about one endangered species in particular - 'Homo Sapiens.'"

If it's not clear already, Home Sapiens are humans and people's answers to whether we should care about our own extinction are shocking, since no one clued in on that fact.

"It's not the fact that I don't like homo sapiens," one pedestrian said, "it's just that we've always lived without them." Another woman responded: "Yeah, I saw one once at the zoo. Furry. Big. Gorilla looking. He was picking his whatchadilly."

Another added: "I don't know what a homo sapien is. If they're going extinct, that's very sad. But at the end of the day, I don't care."
