Billie Eilish's debut album is among the year's biggest releases thus far.

While Billie Eilish is a relative newcomer to the game, she's already on the verge of making a hell of an impression. With the full extent of the Interscope machine behind her, Eilish has developed into a bonafide streaming juggernaut, as evidenced by the runaway success of her When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? project.

The young star has officially climbed atop the Billboard charts in resounding fashion, turning in 313,000 album-equivalent units in her first-week go-around. The massive weeks puts Eilish at the top of the heap, standing only behind Ariana Grande and Thank U, Next, insofar as 2019 chart success is concerned.

Clearly, Eilish is posed for a big career if her debut album is already pulling gargantuan numbers like this. And while she pretty much ran away with the number one spot, hip-hop held it down for Nipsey Hussle, solidifying his Victory Lap album as the second-most streamed project thus far with 66,000 album-equivalent units. The Ariana momentum also continues, with Thank U, Next sliding down to number 3. Have you checked out Billie Eilish's debut? If so, where do you stand on the young artist?
