It's been three years since the release of Danny Brown's last project, Atrocity Exhibition but the rapper will finally be unleashing his next project soon enough. Earlier this week, the rapper formerly announced his fifth studio album, uknowhatimsayin?, in the cover story for Highsnobiety's latest issue. The project, which has yet to have a release date announced, will be executive produced by Q-Tip which sparked curiosity as to what direction Danny will go in next with the album.

During the launch party for HighSnobiety's latest issue, Danny Brown took the stage to drop a few cuts including a new track off of his forthcoming album. The song's titled, "Best Life" and was produced by Q-Tip as well. Q-Tip's known for his experimental production whereas Danny Brown's known for nothing less than experimenting. It's a promising sign of Danny Brown's return.

Danny Brown recently explained how Q-Tip's assistance on the project was necessary. Without the A Tribe Called Quest member, Brown wouldn't have been able to find his groove in the process of creating his new album.

"If I didn’t get help, with somebody to find a direction, I didn’t know what the fuck to do at that time,” Brown explained. “I knew I couldn’t make an album like [Atrocity Exhibition] again. This is the easiest one because you got someone like him you can put your trust into.”
