Trouble has been a busy man of late. Over the weekend, the Atlanta rapper dropped off Edgewood (41E Edition), complete with five new songs. Not only that, but Big Trouble also hosted a premiere screening for his Edgewood short film, which found Mike Will Made It, Joey Bada$$, Asian Doll, Slim Jxmmi, Pierre "Pee" Thomas, and more coming through for the occasion. The film, which loosely follows Trouble's life leading to his December 2008 arrest, has now been made available on the rapper's official YouTube channel.
"On December 17th, 2010, he was released from state prison holding a brown paper grocery bag full of songs he had written," reads the film's closing messages. "It is in prison that Mariel "Trouble" Orr became an artist."
With appearances from Drake, Mike WiLL Made-It, and more, Edgewood stands tall as one of the strongest album-based short films we've seen in a minute.
