The Bucks are doing everything to keep Giannis in Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokoumpo is having an MVP-caliber season with the Milwaukee Bucks this season and is quickly becoming one of the best players in the NBA. In addition to just how good he is, he's also a great teammate and leader who doesn't seem too occupied with all of the extra perks of being a star in the NBA. While most players of his stature would want to get out of a city like Milwaukee, Giannis seems extremely happy to be where he is. Why wouldn't he be? He has a great supporting cast and the team has the best record in the league.

With this in mind, it's no surprise that the Bucks are already working hard to make sure Antetokoumpo is with the team for years to come. Despite his contract only expiring in two years from now, general manager Jon Horst told Sports Illustrated's Chris Ballard that a new contract is already in the works.

"We think about it strategically every day," Horst explained.

Ballard also wrote that "So far, Giannis has said he loves Milwaukee and shows little interest in, as [head coach Mike Budenholzer] puts it, 'all that bulls--t and fame.'"

Heading into the NBA playoffs, the Bucks are a favorite to come out of the East and with Giannis at the helm, anything is possible.
