When Obama sets his mind to do something, it gets done, within the parameters of a fraught political system mind you. But forget all that legacy talk for a second. You like Obama? ✓✓✓

So, why not give the shot he deserves to wow us with his spoken word talent. With that said, Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, just hit us with some "offbeat" bars, on the "One Last Time (44 Remix)" by Lin-Manuel Miranda and his Broadway troupe. If you're like me, and you can only stomach so much Lin-Manuel in your daily-feeder, let me throw you a shortcut to Barack's spoken word verse (at the 1:43 mark of the stream) as well as a written transcript for the even less-inclined.

"The hope that my country will view them with indulgence - and that after forty-five years of my life dedicated to its service with an upright zeal, the faults of incompetent abilities will be consigned to oblivion, as I myself must soon be to the mansions of rest," Obama reads allow over the backing track.

And if you're still disinterested in this Obama-Miranda collusion, allow this revelation to wash your face. In researching Obama's recorded history of spitting bars, I landed on his Genius lyrics page. It might not be news to you, that transcripts of presidential speeches exist on the platform, but it sure put a "lol" on my face. Hit us with your general thoughts in the comment section below.
