On Sunday night we heard a new song from Janelle Monae, which was used as part of E!'s red carpet soundtrack for the Oscars. It was a cover of Robert Palmer's "Simply Irrestible."
Today we hear from Ms. Monae again, this time it's an original track she contributed to the soundtrack for the film "Rio 2." The soundtrack also features music from Bruno Mars, B.o.B., Ester Dean and more.
For "What Is Love" Janelle brings us some feel-good island vibes. The movie will hit theatres on April 11th, while the soundtrack drops on March 25th. Pre-order is available via iTunes.
