Kaytranada continues his run as one of the game's most unique innovators.

Not long after dropping off a few notable releases, including the Ty Dolla $ign & Shay Lia assisted Nothin Like U / Chances EP, Kaytranada has come through with another banger. Off the rip, Kaytra's electro inspirations are evident, as the Haitian-Canadian producer employs pulsing synthesizers and a warbling bassline together in harmony. Ivana and Jessica Nwokike, better known as the duo VanJess, takes to the beat with confidence, adding a slight touch of disco-flavor to the vibe - especially in the song's pre-chorus, which finds the melody evoking a simpler time.

In a recurring fashion, one of Kaytranada's strongest suits are his clean mixes; shout out to his mixing engineers, who keep the instrumentals sounding crisp as hell. For the most part, "Dysfunctional" is a grown-folk dancefloor banger, all the way down to the lyrics. "I hate arguing," begins the second verse. "No ties left to break, baby." Check out this one now, and sound off below.
