Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum is making history. First, he became the first black candidate to secure the democratic primary slot in Florida's race for governor. Then, he swiftly put Donald Trump back in his place when the president attacked him via twitter.

Trump fixed his fingers to express his disagreement with the results of the first round of elections in Florida.

"Not only did Congressman Ron DeSantis easily win the Republican Primary, but his opponent in November is his biggest dream....a failed Socialist Mayor named Andrew Gillum who has allowed crime & many other problems to flourish in his city. This is not what Florida wants or needs!"

Gillum was quick to establish how Trump can come correct next time he has something to say about him.

"What our state and country needs is decency, hope, and leadership. If you agree, join us at http://AndrewGillum.com . Also, @ me next time, @realDonaldTrump."

Ron Desantis, the candidate for whom Trump is rooting, seems to lack said-decency. The politician went on national television to stumble in a PR faux-pas. He fixed his lips to utter the following words in reference to his opponent's win.

"The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda."
