Le'Veon Bell #26 of the Pittsburgh Steelers looks on against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the first half of the AFC Divisional Playoff game at Heinz Field on January 14, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Bell may be running elsewhere this season.

Le'Veon Bell may not be playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers much longer. Then again, he hasn't been playing for the Steelers lately either. The All-Star running back has sat out the first two games of the season, and it doesn't look like he plans on returning anytime soon. The issues lies with Bell's contract. He believes he should be paid more, and his agents and the Steelers were unable to come to an agreement on his contract this Summer. The Steelers placed a franchise tag on him instead, for the second year. This further displeased Bell, and now, ESPN is reporting that the Steelers are starting to accept trade offers for the running back.

Bell is forfeiting $852,941 per week, or one-seventeenth of the total tag number, but it doesn't seem like he minds. The Steelers can get almost anything for such a dynamic player, and several backfields would profit from the presence of Bell. Bell sat down for an interview with ESPN in January, and suggested that he would be placing his value over everything. "I'm not going to settle for anything," he stated. "I know what I do and what I bring to the table. I'm not going out here getting the ball 400 times if I'm not getting what I feel I'm valued at."
