Iggy Azalea has been teasing fans with snippets of her new music and it seems like the artist is just as excited about the upcoming project as her admirers. She hopped on social media to dish about the second album, which is on a whole new level, according to her online musing.
She started by humbly trashing her other material, propping up the upcoming album as her best work yet. "F*ck. I’m really proud of my album. It shits on 95% of everything I’ve ever made & its only half done. #InMyDefense." She attributed this impending success to her collaboration with J White, a pairing she calls a "Dream Duo."
Her location seems to have had an impact on her creative flow as well. Apparently, being back in Atlanta makes her feel grounded. "I’m so so soooo happy I moved back to Atlanta I feel like my old self. It’s wierd [sic]," she wrote.
She later explained the challenges posed by the West Coast in conjunction with her celebrity status. "I LOVE LA... but the media element of it was fucking me up so bad," Iggy tweeted. "I’m just now seeing how much better iam [sic] creatively when I’m not draining my energy stressing dumb shit like papz." The album does not have an official release date yet, but Iggy is aiming for next spring.
