The California wildfires were one of the largest recorded fires in the sunshine state. There was a total of 7,579 fires burning in an area of 1,667,855 acres, turning homes into dust and evacuating thousands of residents. Many celebrities and Malibu estate owners lost their luxurious properties and Hidden Hills homeowners like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were closing to joining the list until they hired private firefighters.
As we reported, KimYe's private hire not only saved their home but their neighbour's homes as well. New photos from TMZ show just how close the flames got to their $60 million mansion that would have resulted in the whole block going up in flames if the firefighters didn't work hard to put it out. Kim and Kanye's home sits at the end of a culdesac which means their home going on fire would have caused a domino effect for the whole neighbourhood.
The West's are safe and well and their newly renovated home is now cleared from the state's natural disaster.
