Minister Louis Farrakhan has been labeled an anti-semite by many for decades now. The leader of the Nation of Islam has made questionable comments regarding members of the religion, and a video of him seemingly comparing Jews to termites has been scrubbed from Facebook. As reported by Deadline, the video in question was removed from the social media site for violating their Terms of Service. The clip still remains on Twitter though, as some argue that Farrakhan was not comparing Jews to termites, but rather calling out detractors from any race, religion, sex, or creed.
"Now, white folks don't like Farrakhan," he began. "Some of them respect me. But those who have been our deceivers, they can't stand me." He continued on to tell an anecdote about a displaced donkey who is able to escape a ditch after those passing by threw stones at it. Farrakhan claimed the parable was handed down to him from Elijah Muhammad before continuing with his speech. “So when they talk about Farrakhan, call me a hater, call me anti-Semite. Stop it," Farrakhan states in the video. "I’m anti-Termite. I don’t know nothing about hating somebody because of their religious preference."
