Just because Ariana Grande mentioned her ex-boyfriend in a song doesn't mean she's getting back together with him. As we know, Ariana sang about some of her past flings in her hit "Thank U, Next" calling out Pete Davidson, Big Sean, late Mac Miller and Ricky Alvarez. Ari sang about what each ex taught her and how now she's just dating herself.
Having such an excessive fan base means that Ariana can't get away with one little comment on her ex's photo without people thinking their back together. The latter happened recently when Ari commented on Ricky's Instagram post writing “these colors are sick” on a photo of the backup dancer rocking a mustard sweater in Brooklyn.
Instagram users came in heavy questioning if they were trying a round at love. "We're friends everyone take a big ol breather," she replied to one fan who commented, "[What] about you and Ariana???? We all want to know," Entertainment Tonight reports.
