"No concert pics tonight just throwbacks...thank you Nashville."

Drake fans will know the rapper represents for The Six. The rapper is, however, of mixed origin, and his father, Dennis Graham, is from Memphis, Tennessee. Last night, Drake's Aubrey and Three Migos tour made a stop in Nashville Tennesse, and in the face of an apparent wave of nostalgia, Drake told the crowd he was "so happy to be home."

Tuesday night's show took place in the iconic Bridgestone Arena, in an idyllic setting across some of the cities celebrated honkey-tonks. According to the Tennessean, several of the rapper's family members were present, including his dapper father, seated in the VIP area of course. Drake made sure quite literally shine a light on them and ensure that the crowd shared in his joy at being in the city. "I'ma be honest with you, I checked the schedule every f*cking day to find out when we're coming to Nashville, Tennessee," he told the crowd.

He also took a moment to shout-out another musician, co-collaborator and Memphis resident in attendance, producer Tay Keith. Keith grew up in Memphis and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, and cites local musicians such as MJG and Three 6 Mafia as major influences. He's produced hits with Drake such as "Nonstop," and "Look Alive."

After the show, Drake took to his IG to post some throwbacks in celebration of his Nashville show. Take a look at the vintage snaps below.
