Kobe cautions Lakers fans to just relax.

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a pair of losses over the weekend, including a home defeat at the hands of the New York Knicks and a 22-point blowout loss in Minnesota. Since losing LeBron James to a groin injury during their Christmas day victory against Golden State, the Lakers are just 1-5.

Heading into tonight's game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Lakers are sitting in eighth place in the Western Conference with a 21-19 record and some disgruntled fans are ready to hit the panic button, whether that means making a blockbuster trade or shaking up the coaching staff.

Enter: Kobe Bryant. The Lakers legend took to twitter on Sunday night with a message for Laker nation: "Relax."

Not only are the Lakers playing without LeBron James but they are also without veteran point guard Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma, who suffered a lower-back contusion Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron will miss tonight's game against the Mavericks and will likely be sidelined for Wednesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons at Staples Center. According to reports, the 34-year old star continues to receive daily treatment and will be reevaluated later this week.
