With a mission statement promising to "provide historically disadvantaged students with the college and career readiness skills needed to become responsible and engaged citizens for social justice," Capital Prep has been a staple in the community since its inception in 2012.
Now, it would appear that the Capital Prep students have been enjoying an inspirational field trip. Diddy recently took to Instagram to share a picture of several students at Columbia University, alongside the caption "My kids from my school CAPITAL PREP HARLEM. At Columbia University. Let’s go!" Clearly, Diddy is on his "the children are the future" wave, and he seems to be enjoying instilling a positive change in their lives.
It goes to show that Diddy remains invested in his school; who would have thought the man notorious for yelling "Take That, Take That," back in the nineties would go on to have such a positive influence in the community.
