XXL has responded accordingly, to requests from anxious XXXTentacion fans who remained hopeful that publication would released behind the scenes footage from his 2017 Freshman Cypher. This afternoon, XXX posted 3 and a half minutes of never before seen footage, leading off with XXX's kneeling verse. XXXTentacion went off in his trademark chopper style before passing off the mic with a timely sentence: "I don't need security baby."

Even in offhand freestyles such as this one, XXXTentacion demonstrate a willingness to explore his vulnerability. The late Broward rapper shared the fluorescent lighting with Playboi Carti, Madeintyo and Ugly God, in his first year of eligibility. XXX saunters off to a podium after passing off to Ugly God, looking up at Carti while he adds playful commentary to the enchanting quietness of the room. 2017 happened to be the first year, XXL did away with the deejay booth, all rappers sounding off acapella.

The video then cuts to dead silence, as XXXTentacion calls for solemnity, exclaiming "And if the world ever had an apocalypse I would kill all you fucks," in the same kneeling position. He goes off for another minute or so, as the group sits in utter disbelief, XXX effectively controlling the energy flow of the gathering.

See for yourself.
