Director/Actor Jason Bateman attends the #NETFLIXFYSEE 'Change In Focus' during Netflix FYSEE at Raleigh Studios on May 18, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

Things will get even more hectic in season two.

Jason Bateman is doing an astounding job at helming the Netflix series Ozark. Bateman not only stars in the drama, he directs and produces the show as well. The first season of the series follows Bateman's character Marty Byrde and his family as they become tied up with the Cartel. Byrde moves his family from the city out to the sticks to escape a drug lord that he must pay back, but things become complicated once local gang members get involved. The first season of the show did well for Netflix, so it makes sense that they would bring Bateman back for a second run.

A teaser trailer for the second season of Ozark hit the web recently. "We've done a lot of things. Things that we said we would never do," reveals Laura Linney's character Wendy Byrde in the trailer. "People make choices, Wendy," Bateman's replies. "Choices have consequences."  Camino Del Rio (Esai Morales), the drug kingpin from the first season is gone. Helen Pierce, who is played by Jessica Jones' Janet McTeer, will arrive to cause mayhem in his wake. Season one of Ozark can be streamed on Netflix right now, and season two premieres on Friday, August 31.
