It feels like Offset and Cardi B always have some sort of legal drama to tend to. Earlier in the year, the two were accused of sending their bodyguards to beat down an autograph seeker, Giovanni Arnold. Shortly after, Arnold filed a lawsuit against the couple as well as the hotel in which he was allegedly beat up in front of. However, it looks like both Cardi B and Offset are now facing a new lawsuit from the Hotel where the incident took place.
The Mark Hotel wants Cardi B and Offset to take full accountability for alleged beatdown of an autograph seeker that took place outside the hotel, The Blast reports. According to court documents, the hotel filed a counter-suit against Cardi B and Offset after all three were listed in a lawsuit by Giovanni Arnold.
The hotel denies any wrongdoing in the incident and believe that whatever the judgement is in Arnold's case, Cardi B and Offset should be the ones coughing up the money.
They claim, "Any liability will be have been brought about and caused solely as a result of the fault, negligence, acts or omissions, want of care and/or breach of contract on the part of Belcalis Almanzar p/k/a Cardi B, Kiari Kendrell Cephus p/k/a Offset."
The hotel is currently seeking all claims be tossed. They want Cardi B and Offset held liable for any money that's owed to Arnold.
