John Cena's Instagram bio details how all images shared to his feed "will be posted without explanation" for everyone's own "interpretation," so when he recently shared a photo of the Captain America shield with claw marks, fans quickly suspected that he may have an involvement in the upcoming Marvel film.
Since the usual star for the role, Chris Evans, announced that the upcoming Avengers 4 will be the last time he suits up as Captain, it means the role will soon be opening up. "I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be hard for me," Chris said when talking about no longer starring as Captain. "But the passing of time and the passing of torches is part of the experience. Nothing lasts forever. There’s a beauty in that departure, even if it can be sad at times. It’s also joyful."
