Noname Releases First-Ever Music Video For "Blaxploitation"

Noname has unleashed her first-ever music video.

BYAlex Zidel

Noname quietly released one of the best albums of the entire year, bringing her poetic brand of spoken word rap to the masses. For years, she has been killing it on the underground but this project truly established her as one of the best musicians out right now. While Room 25 continues to gain in replay value, Noname has decided to premiere her first-ever video for "Blaxploitation," dropping off the film today.

The jazzy Chicagoan hasn't felt a need to film any visuals for her content in the past but "Blaxploitation" seemed like the perfect place to start. The clip would allow her to draw inspiration from some of the most watched Blaxploitation films of all time, using familiar fonts and going to the extreme with her ideas.

Take a look at her first-ever music video and let us know your thoughts.
