Ryan Reynolds holds nothing back in new attack against Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman's role in the film The Front Runner is looking like one to watch in the forthcoming awards season, and Ryan Reynolds is among the many who know it. So, as Reynolds is so skilled in doing, he's decided to do nothing else but launch a smear campaign against his friend in an effort to convince others as to just why Jackman doesn't deserve the praise he's been getting.

Flipping the theme of the film, in which Jackman plays 1988 presidential candidate Gary Hart, Ryan Reynolds creates a political ad in which he alleges that Hugh Jackman's Australian accent isn't even real, reviving his favorite rumor that Hugh is actually a product of Milwaukee.

"Hugh Jackman’s upcoming performance in The Front Runner fooled some people into thinking he deserves an award. But before voting begins, some people should consider these facts,” Reynolds says in the comedic clip. “Hugh Michael speaks with a charming accent, but he’s actually from Milwaukee.”

He goes on to suggest that his Deadpool role is much more deserving of a statue than Hugh Jackman, adding: "Is this type of amazing actor and nice person we want delivering a preachy liberal speech this awards season? Or maybe there’s a real foreigner from a border country who would really love it… a lot."

Only time will tell how Jackman responds to these startling allegations.
