Offset allegedly had to swerve to avoid a "crackhead."

Offset is having one of the greatest years of his life, releasing the sequel to the hyper-successful Culture and expecting a baby with his partner Cardi B. With a lot of solo momentum and triumphs to celebrate as part of the Atlanta trio Migos, his success was almost instantaneously derailed last week when he was involved in a dangerous car crash. After photos revealed the extent of the damages to his Dodge Challenger, many believed that Offset was lucky to be alive as his car was absolutely wrecked. While the details of the crash remained scarce until now, initial reports claimed a pedestrian had run out in front of the car, causing the Migos member to swerve to avoid him. In a since-deleted tweet, Cardi B seems to confirm this information.

According to HHNM, the rapper's fiancée wrote, "Crazy how Set had to swerve and hit a tree cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself." Going further into detail, Bardi explains that the man is safe, adding, "God do unexplainable things! Luckily a man was walking by, walked him home and just vanished. The Lord is real."

Offset has since commented on the unfortunate happenings, thanking God for allowing him to survive the impact of the crash and showing off his injuries in a neck brace. He certainly will not be driving the green Challenger anymore but, hopefully, Offset recovers from his injuries in a timely manner and gets back to normal.
