After Kanye West kicked off the season premiere of SNL last weekend with a rather horrible & controversial performance, the NBC show is sticking with another hip-hop act this week. Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina will serve as the host, while Travi$ Scott will hit the stage to perform one of his Astroworld cuts as the evening's musical guest.
But before things go down this weekend, SNL is sharing a new promo clip starring both La Flame and Awkwafina. Standing alongside Saturday Night Live‘s own Cecily Strong, Travis appears to be tired as fuck during the filming but eventually starts to ad-lib some raps that Cecily lays downs. However overall, it’s a rather awkward promo clip from Travis, who looks to be sleeping and/or nodding off throughout most the clip.
Travis Scott’s SNL debut will serve as a nice warm up for his upcoming “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here” Tour which kicks off next month in Baltimore. If interested, fan can peep tour dates right here.
