Jay Electronica originally wanted "Control" to be featured on his own LP.

The No I.D. produced track that has everyone in hip hop talking, "Control (HOF)" was rumored to be on Big Sean's album, but he released it as a freebie - because how can you even contain that much fire?

We heard that the beat was originally crafted for Jay Z, and now Jay Electronica who appeared on the cut, says that both him and Sean originally were on it, and Jay Electron' wanted it on his own LP, "It was me and Big Sean, we had verses on there, and then when he told me it wasn't on his album...I was gonna use it on my album."

Jay is not upset that it wasn't on his own project, and feels the tune is a positive for the world of hip hop, "it's a good thing, it's a good thing for hip hop music.  Because hip hop has been laying dormant for a long time.  Peace to the young Gods."
