The divisive scene has been added to a digital version of the film released Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Deadpool 2 writers revealed that they had decided against including a post-credits sequence that involved a plan for Deadpool to travel back in time and kill baby Hitler. Now that the film has made its way out digitally, the scene has been made available as part of a Super Duper cut of the film. It can be viewed at NME.

In the scene, after feeling very conflicted about the job, Deadpool ultimately decides against killing the child who will grow up to be one of the most evil men to ever live.

In a recent interview, star Ryan Reynolds commented on the divisive scene. “I always loved it, because it created the same debate in our edit room as it does in the streets of the world,” he said. “It was debated back and forth, and over and over again. We were all a little nervous about it, wondering, ‘Is it too much?’ None of us could come to a consensus on how to handle it, so our final decision was to just not handle it, to just not put it in the movie. We cut it out partially for time, but also to give us something really fun to add into the coda of the DVD.”

According to the writers, they did not want audiences leaving the theatre on the wrong note. “We shot it and we put it in front of an audience,” Rhett Reese told UPROXX. “[Deadpool’s] got the crib and he’s standing in the German nursery and he’s leaning over the crib to do it and there was kind of this, ‘ohhhhh.’ And we thought we don’t want to leave the crowd on an ‘ohhhhh.’ So it ended up coming out.”
