Jaden Smith recently dropped off a new project titled The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story exactly one year after his debut album SYRE. The new music is a part of his Cool Tape series through which Jaden first explored his early hip-hop artistry.
The Cool Tape Story is 11 tracks long, with various titles alluding to his past releases such as “FALLEN Part 2” and “SYRE In Abbey Road."
"Play This On A Mountain At Sunset" is arguably the perfect accompaniment to a moment of reflection or philosophizing. Speaking to Nylon, Jaden revealed, I'm a learning philosopher, you know? So I get to learn new things every day...For me, personally, I am growing to have a well-rounded education on everything, because you're never gonna know everything. So I feel like yes, I am a modern-day philosopher in training."
