At long last, Brooklyn femcee DonMonique has officially delivered her Black Kate Moss full-length project, the follow-up to 2015's Thirst Trap effort. Sticking to the formula, Don keeps things at an even eight tracks, with a sole feature from Sha Hef on mid-project banger "Player's Club."
DonMonique particularly picked up steam after the arrival of Thirst Trap, but a widened gap of silence, save for the delivery of singles that inlcude "30 Block" and the title track, had us checked out from the New York-bred artist for some time. Nonetheless, she's finally put an end to the drought, coming through with heightened confidence and unapologetically so on the dynamic Black Kate Moss outing.
