Phora's Love Is Hell sophomore major label outing arrived last week and this time around, the Anaheim--bred emcee switched up the formula, recruiting a slew of strong features to adorn his new project.

One of those links up manifested by way of the chill "For You" track, featuring Tory Lanez and G-Eazy. Produced by Anthro and Native Beats, the backdrop of "For You" samples Lucy Rose's 2012 track "Watch Over Me" and ultimatley comes together as a lowkey track lightly laced in dancehall influence.

In an interview with Billboard, Phora explained that his decision to include features on Love Is Hell came out of genuine connections he made with each artist this year. "Me not having features on my other projects, it wasn’t really by choice," he adds. "It was kind of how it was because I was more in the corner. I personally feel like with this project, it’s more my time to shine.

Quotable Lyrics

I always drop it down for you
Time to do what we were bound to do
Everything I did surrounded you
That's why you're the one I'm grounded too
Let's just make it, let's just make it
Tryna be your ex is crazy
Tryna to find an exit baby
