Cardi needed those diamonds, pronto!

Rappers getting diamond chains made out of cartoon characters isn't anything new. Who can forget Gucci Mane's legendary Bart Simpson chain, or Quavo's chain of himself cooking alongside Remy the rat from Pixar's Ratatouille

According to TMZ, Cardi B also wanted to jump onto the cartoon chain trend, but she had to put in a rush order so that she could debut her chain during her performance at this year's Coachella music festival.

The chain portrays Lola Bunny, the rabbit who made her first appearance with the Looney Tunes in the classic Michael Jordan film, Space Jam, posed holding the rest of the chain over her head like a jump rope. The whole thing is covered in 110 carat diamonds, which gives the chain an estimated value of between $350K and $400K.

Cardi didn't just drop almost half a million on her neck off a whim, her jeweler, Eliantte Avianne of Avianne & Co., says that she had the idea for a while, but for some reason waited until five days before her Coachella performance in order to actually make the order. That's a very short time to make a diamond chain like that, but he obviously managed to hit the deadline, and the check was probably worth the effort.

You can check out an up-close-and-personal video of Cardi's Lola Bunny chain in the video down below. How would you rate this chain among some of the other chains rappers have worn. Is it fire, or did she waste her time with this piece?
