Cardi B continued her promotion tour for her album, Invasion of Privacy, this morning by making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and some of the things she said managed to shock even Ellen.
They started the interview by talking about Cardi's recent SNL performance, where she finally confirmed the long-standing rumors that she was currently pregnant with Offset's child. When footage of Cardi twerking during her Coachella performance was shown after, Cardi took the opportunity to stun the crowd.
Ellen said, "It looks like you’re getting ready to give birth right there," to which Cardi replied, "I was just trying to show the world how I got pregnant in the first place," which resulted in an uproar of laughter from the audience.
Cardi also shared some interesting factoids during her interview. It turns out that Offset has already picked a name their child, but Cardi wants him to be the one to reveal the it since he was the one who chose it. We also know that the baby's name isn't Susan or Ellen (though Ellen does offer Cardi $20,000 to name the baby after her).
Cardi also shared stories of her time as a high school student (a very disruptive one, by her own volition), and later as a stripper. Ellen even takes the opportunity to embarrass Cardi in return by showing one of her old high school yearbook photos to the whole world.
