French Montana scores a massive win.

These days, it's not easy to go platinum once, let alone five times. Yet every so often a song comes along that manages to captivate the masses, resonating with all walks of life, from the club-goers to the radio-listening mothers. French Montana and Swae Lee's "Unforgettable" is one such song, and the 2017 summer smash continues to forge ever-onward, seemingly unstoppable. French took to Twitter to bask in the glorious news, writing a long and emoji-laden message:

"GOD IS GREAT (prayer emoji) JUST WENT FIVE TIMES PLATINUM TODAY (wave emoji) 20 million around the WORLD !! WOW (shocked emoji) THE BIGGEST RECORD IN SONY THIS YEAR THANK YOU TO ALL THE WAVY FANS OUT THERE (heart emoji) LOVE YALL !! MEN LIE WOMEN LIE NUMBERS DONT"

It looks like French is feeling blessed right now, and why wouldn't he be? This isn't the early millennium, where pretty much every working artist was either hitting platinum status or coming dangerously close. Nowadays, people have no attention span - they want new music all the time. Hell, the album as an art-form seems on its way out, and many people prefer checking for singles. However, for a single to stand out as something truly timeless, it had better be damn good.

Clearly, French Montana and Swae Lee captured lightning in a bottle on this one, and "Unforgettable" has solidified itself as the biggest song in both of their careers. Congrats to French and Swae, and here's hoping the Jungle Rules rapper has found it in his heart to forgive Diddy for doing him dirty with that Photoshop.
