OutKast got back together for a touching moment. But, don't hold your breath for anything else.

We haven’t heard much from Andre 3000 and Big Boi as a unit in what seems like an eternity, but that doesn’t mean the two Atlanta emcees aren’t still kicking it as a family. In a recent photo opportunity, 3 Stacks and Fat Sacks posed to commemorate the recent high school graduation of Big Boi’s son, Andre “Bamboo” Patton II. The young Patton graduated with honors from Woodward Academy, a prestigious prep school in the city.

“Bamboo Got that Paper work !!! @woodwardacademy class of 2018 !!! 🆙 #WithHonors,” Big Boi penned under the snapshot of Bamboo sandwiched between him and his longtime friend and collaborator.

While we’re used to hearing Big Boi attack the booth with no holding back, it’s a refreshing and light-hearted moment to hear the excitement in the veteran's voice as he cheered when his son walked across the stage to receive his diploma.

“Thank you Jesus ! My Baby Boy just Graduated with Honors,” he penned in a caption accompanying the clip.

But don’t let this heartfelt family reunion deceive you. Just as Andre 3000 confirmed last year, this in no way signals a move to head back into the booth. It was when he spoke with Complex that he revealed he had no intentions of getting the band back together for the sake of doing something else as he ages.

“Now it’s [rapping] more like a hobby for me, so I don’t think about it in that way,” he told the publication. “Even with Outkast — if we never do another album, I’m totally fine with that. When I was 25, I said I don’t want to be a 30-year-old rapper. I’m 42 now, and I feel more and more that way. Do I really want to be 50 years old up there doing that? When I watch other rappers that are my age I commend them, but I just wonder where the inspiration is coming from. At this stage I’m really more focused on what I am going to be doing 10 years from now. And I hope to God it won’t be rapping.”
