Regrettably, Gangin II will be SOB x RBE will be their last album as a group. Fortunately, the main bread getters DaBoii and Yhung T.O. have some work to unload, so the etchings of their group dynamic will remain in the atmosphere. After Gangin II drops one week from Today, all four members will have to bank on their showcase efforts in order to prosper away from the nest.
"Made It" is a strong indication they might be able to hack it on their lone. After talking to T.O. in August, their respective career arcs started to take shape (within my mind). Although all four members of SOB x RBE were friends "outside of work," the group dynamic was explained to me as a marriage of convenience among friends. To his point (Yhung T.O.), the breakup appears to be a deliberate continuation of the opening act, the very first Gangin album released last year.
