Hoodrich Pablo Juan, G Herbo, and Tee Grizley are three thrilling rappers who are all icons in their respective cities (Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit), and they've come together on Virginia-raised, New York-based producer TGUT's new track "Moneyman." All very much in their own lanes, it's possible these three artists never would have collaborated without TGUT's recruitment, but each possesses a captivating energy and penchant for syllable-stacking that makes them a powerful united force. The spare instrumental finds the overlap in their venn diagrams, and ultimately brings great performances out of all three. Pablo, fittingly handles the hook, his rubbery triplet flows descending over the rigid synths like slinkies.
No word on whether TGUT is working on a solo project, but given the chemistry here, we trust his skill as an A&R as much as his production.
