"At the end of the day, we’re getting a bag.”

Rae Sremmurd has built their careers to a whole new level in the last two years, becoming one of the premier groups in hip-hop. If their recent singles have any indication of how their upcoming triple album will sound, we're in for a treat at the end of the month. Preparing for their takeover, Billboard recognized the duo's current prowess and placed them on the cover of their latest issue. With Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi gracing the cover of Billboard, the publication spent time with the pair to catch up on all things pertaining to their upcoming drop.

As the triple album is set to include the highly-anticipated Sremmlife 3, as well as solo ventures in Swaecation and Jxmtroduction, a question came up about any will to outperform the other. While their best work arguably comes from when they work as a duo, Swae has seen success by himself as a writer on Beyoncé's "Formation" and as a guest on French Montana's massive hit "Unforgettable." On the idea of any sibling rivalry, Jxmmi responded with, "I’m always singing ‘Unforgettable’ when it come on in the club, but people look at me like, ‘Is it OK if I dance to this?’ It’s no competition. We’re brothers. At the end of the day, we’re getting a bag."

While the idea of competition between brothers is nothing new, Jxm and Swae seem to push each other to perform at their highest levels on a consistent basis. To read more of their cover story with Billboard, click here.
