Buddy and Guapdad 4000 are quick to impress on "Shameless."

Though his A$AP Ferg-assisted single "Black" seemed to indicate that Buddy was sitting on a sea of bangers, his brand new Harlan & Alondra album is far more focused on chasing "the schmoove." Though the project's entire vibe seems sun-kissed by washed-out synthesizers, Buddy is never one to slack, especially not two tracks in. As a result, the Guapdad4000 assisted "Shameless" finds both rappers kicking up the effortless laid-back flow, picking up where a poignant introduction leaves off.

Guapdad4000 holds it down with the opening verse, solidifying himself as one of the new generation's exciting young voices. Picking up where "Scamboy" left off, Guapdad finds himself thrust into legitimacy, marveling at his increased playlist presence. As for Buddy, he seems to be reveling in his newfound status. Yet don't get it twisted; he has yet to lose sight of his humility, and for that, the game is thankful.

Quotable Lyrics

Magazines wit' my face on the front page
Packin' a suitcase
Rolled outta Compton and got me a new place
Pop the champage
Get outta my way, I been doin' my two-a-days
Nike campaigns, big ads on the side of the freeway
