Back in 2016, Fabolous released a project called Summertime Shootout 2: The Level Up, which included the song “Ashanti,” featuring samples from two of Ashanti’s hit songs, “Foolish” and "Rock wit U (Awww Baby)." Now fast forward two years later, and Fab decides to recruit the R&B songstress for the official remix and share its accompanying video in the process.
Kicking off with a preview of Fab’s forthcoming single “Oh Yea,” which will drop next Friday and feature Ty Dolla $ign, the video eventually finds Fab & Ashanti rockin' some fur minks and enjoying some drinks and laughs with one another at a fancy restaurant in this Gerard Victor-directed clip (above). It surfaces just hours after Fab jumped on Ella Mai’s Summer smash “Boo’d Up,” which you can listen to right here if you missed it.
