The Florida rapper may have gone back on his word.

Back in October, it was reported that XXXTentacion would be trying to right his wrongs through a $100K donation to domestic violence prevention programs. He may have meant it, at the time, but it appears that even if he has gone through with the donation, he's unwilling to provide evidence of it.

Complex conducted an investigation of X's supposed donation, which he said he was going to make six months ago. What they've found is that there is zero concrete evidence that such a donation was ever made.

First they were told by X's representatives that there was, "no date or time stamp on X's plans." It was only after Complex told them they would be publishing a story about the donation that the rep said that X had donated to Women in Distress of Broward County as well as other, unnamed charities. After reaching out to Women in Distress of Broward County, they refused to comment on whether or not they had ever received a donation from XXXTentacion.

XXXTentacion has had a long history with domestic violence, as his music started to blow up while he was sitting in prison on charges of battery, witness-tampering, and false imprisonment. He also received additional witness-tampering charges back in December, and was recently shown on video punching a woman in the head.

If X wants people to believe that he's changing for the better, it might help if he started to keep his promises and put his money where his mouth is.
