Gorilla Zoe has never quite made it into the mainstream despite having a solid collection of several mixtapes under his belt. Then again, this digital age has produced many younger rappers who have proved to be more prolific, dropping as many projects in record times. Gorilla Zoe seems to want to make an iconic move with his latest track "Fat Jesus," potentially in efforts to exalt himself to higher ground on the rap scene.
To recall the title of the track, the homie wears a wig on the cover, in tribute to the Christian prophet, as he bows his head in mock-prayer. Or perhaps the praying actually happened. Who knows? Ironically, the song's lyrics have nothing holy about them, aside from the fact that they are delivered through the divine artform that is rap. Gorilla Zoe's spits about eating "her pussy like a scuba diver," one of the many similes that earn the track the "explicit" label.
