50 Cent’s battle with Tia Kemp is in the courts, and neither seems willing to back down. It all stems back to online comments Kemp made about 50 Cent’s son, Sire, after Fif mocked her and Rick Ross’ son for getting assaulted in Florida at gunpoint. Kemp accused Sire of being on the spectrum and referred to him as “slow,” while also sharing a sexually explicit photo of Daphne Joy, Sire’s mother.
Fif has since filed a lawsuit against her and demanded an injunction that would prevent her from talking about Sire. According to TMZ, 50 Cent appeared in court via Zoom to address the matter. During his brief appearance, he addressed Kemp and the purpose of the lawsuit.
“Honestly, if she didn’t respond the way she responded to the order, then I wouldn’t even continue to pursue it. But she just went off, and it continued to go in the wrong direction,” he told the judge. The judge ultimately told 50 that it’s his decision and they will revisit the issue in 30 to 45 days.
50 Cent Vs. Tia Kemp Continues
Tia didn’t actually appear in court, so there wasn’t much that could be done during this hearing. However, TMZ reports that Tia hasn’t been served with the injunction; therefore, it’s impossible to actually determine whether a permanent injunction is possible. Still, 50’s attorneys argue that she’s avoiding being served.
The next hearing is set for December 7th. Tia Kemp has remained defiant in her online trolling after the lawsuit was filed. Most recently, 50 Cent revealed that he got her Instagram account suspended from going Live. Still, Fif was previously granted a temporary restraining order against Kemp last month. We will continue to keep you posted on any further updates surrounding 50 Cent’s lawsuit against Tia Kemp.
