Adam22 was speaking with Wack 100 and teased rumors about Kendrick Lamar, and now, DJ Akademiks is weighing in.

Adam22 and DJ Akademiks were recently in New York City for Drake's 40th birthday party. As it turns out, the two were gossiping amongst each other throughout the weekend.

So much so that Adam22 recently took to his podcast with Wack 100 and stated that he had a "treasure trove" of rumors concerning Kendrick Lamar. However, Adam stated that he would not be revealing any of them, as he could not verify their veracity.

Akademiks saw this clip on his stream and decided to throw his own commentary into the mix. It was here that Akademiks spoke about an alleged story from years ago. The commentator refused to name any of the people involved. However, he did make the allegation that Lamar was trying to meet with women in the studio. Ak acknowledged that the internet wasn't going to believe the story. He left it at that.

Adam22 & DJ Akademiks Spread Unsubstantiated Rumors

The reactions to Akademiks' storytelling have not been particularly favorable towards the commentator. Some feel as though this is the kind of story that is completely unnecessary to spew on such a public platform. Others acknowledge that it has nothing to do with hip-hop and is purely being espoused for salacious headlines.

It's also easy to see why Ak and Adam22 would be excited to share this kind of stuff. They are good friends with Drake, and following the beef, there has certainly been an Anti-Kendrick agenda from that camp.

When you put all of this together, you end up with a perfect storm of media narratives. Ultimately, you need to understand who the sources are connected to before making your verdict on a situation.
