DJ Akademiks and Sneako's ongoing social media war almost saw a reconciliation thanks to Brother Zül-Qarnaįn. He brought the two social media personalities together for a livestream during which they could hash out their issues and come to an understanding. But it backfired pretty quickly, as the two continue to berate and insult each other.
As caught by CY Chels on Twitter, Brother Zül-Qarnaįn's efforts did not lead to any common ground. Sneako and Akademiks went off on each other over religious views, their online content, allegations of misconduct or misbehavior, and a whole lot more. As such, we can only expect for their Internet shots to grow from here, unless they decide to take the high ground and claim indifference or superiority towards the other.
For example, Ak decided to just leave the stream after he felt like they weren't getting anywhere. But on the other hand, Sneako threatened legal action over Akademiks allegedly sharing doctored images of him online, along with false allegations per the streamer.
One of the consequences of this crash-out was how both online personalities constantly traded serious political topics for juvenile taunts, and back again. The whole situation has been a mess so far, and we don't see it getting any better. Maybe the two will find other online targets to focus on in the future instead of harping on their current spat.
Sneako & DJ Akademiks Beef
For those unaware, this beef began during a call with fellow streamers Adin Ross and Cuffem. Ak and Sneako eventually started to send ugly insults each other's way.
What's ironic about this situation is that DJ Akademiks and Sneako had collaborated before, so their quickly escalated feud may have confused some fans out of the loop. They previously livestreamed together from Sneako's home, which Ak lightly roasted. Also, they took each other aback with their takes on the Venezuela situation and more hip-hop-related happenings like the latest updates on Ye, Drake, and many more.
Sneako and DJ Akademiks go way back in the streaming world, and the environments, personalities, and audiences they have both cultivated make a clash like this somewhat unsurprising. After all, drama is the name of the media game right now. As such, although Brother Zül-Qarnaįn wasn't able to have them bury the hatchet this time around, it wouldn't be shocking to see them eventually link up again.
Still, given how fiery and disrespectful they got on this stream, maybe things are too far gone now.
