Connie Diiamond is giving the girls a reason to act up. The Bronx rapper returned on October 30 with "Wait," a new single featuring DreamDoll. The record leans into playful punchlines, raunchy lyricism, and plenty of personality, with both rappers matching each other's energy from start to finish. The track is built around confidence, sexuality, and the freedom to have fun without holding back, and it is pitched as a soundtrack for nights out with friends when the looks are right and nobody is ready to go home. Pairing Connie's sharp delivery with DreamDoll's feminine energy makes sense, since both have built their names in the New York scene by keeping their personalities front and center. "Wait" gives fans a fun, flirty record to run back heading into the weekend.
