Wiz Khalifa has a new album dropping on November 13 called "Cool," and "The Calm" is one of the lead singles for it.

Wiz Khalifa has been in the game for a long time, and as it turns out, he is looking to reinvent himself on his upcoming project, Cool. This album comes out on November 13, and it appears as though the artist is going for an indie rock aesthetic, with an infusion of rap for good measure. That certainly comes across on the new single, "The Calm." This track comes with some indie rock vibes, especially on the chorus, which is sung by Jae Harp. Wiz's rapping on the song is catchy, and he certainly finds the pocket within this instrumental. Overall, it's an interesting aesthetic shift and we are looking forward to hearing more.

Quotable Lyrics from The Calm

That's what you like, ain't it
That body like a paintin'

Throw money like it's rainin'
