Yung Miami was adamant about wanting Drake to appear on the "Spend Dat" remix, but in the end, he chose other endeavors.

Drake is one of the biggest artists in rap history, so it's no surprise that Yung Miami would want him on the remix of her biggest song. "Spend Dat" was one of the summer's biggest songs. The same can be said of Drizzy's "Janice STFU." Therefore, a collaboration could have been a unifying moment.

Yung Miami has been open about her attempts to get Drake on "Spend Dat" remix. With her album Watch Dis dropping today, the collaboration could have been a major look for her.

However, in the end, Drake decided against it. Unfortunately for Yung Miami, he couldn't even give her a "no." While speaking to Nessa on Hot 97, Yung Miami reveals she was ghosted and left on read.

Yung Miami Tried To Text Drake

“Drake left me on read. I'm like, 'Drake, what did I do?' I love Drake... Just tell me no. I'm good with the no, but leaving me on read is like, what?" Yung Miami said.

Being left on read and ghosted in this matter must certainly hurt, especially as an artist who is just trying to capitalize on their moment. However, this shouldn't be too surprising. Drake is an A-list artist, and typically, artists of that caliber pick their spots. They don't just hop on every song in the name of fan service.

Regardless, it is easy to see where Yung Miami is coming from here. You would at least hope for some sort of response, even if it isn't the one you were hoping for.

With or without Drake, "Spend Dat" continues to make waves. Meanwhile, the new album has arrived, and fans certainly have their opinions about it.
